Vicky Cristina Barcelona

I really love Woody Allen films. I love the music he uses, the actors he casts, the locations he films at, and the profound, pondersome messages his movies contain. I'm trying to watch as many of his films as I can throughout the summer, but have found this to be an overwhelming goal as there are so many movies of his to choose from! I watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona recently and loved it. It took a while to find myself deeply immersed in the film, but once it ended I found myself wanting to see more of the characters' stories develop. Penelope Cruz was fantastic; her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in this film was well-deserved. Another Woody Allen film that I loved - not too surprising!
