If you know me well, you’re aware that I am prone to frequent obsessions. A mean case of “the obsessions” haunts me more often than I’d like; some come and go as fast as they came upon me, others make a lasting impression. Some are ephemeral (hair scrunchies – the glitter kind, naturally), while others last for quite some time. In fact, some never go away. Take my Disney obsession, for example. That obsession is surely one that will last forever.
Here are a few of my obsessions, both current and from the past:
- Meg Ryan (Surely anyone who has seen Sleepless in Seattle or When Harry Met Sally would agree!)
- Starbucks (White peppermint mochas are the best. Ever.)
- Disney (No explanation needed.)
- Romantic Comedies (I love a good tearjerker that also makes me laugh. Again, When Harry Met Sally!)
- Nailpolish (My favorite color will always be Essie’s Mint Candy Apple.)
- Adam Morrison (One of my earliest obsessions, but for those who know me well, you surely recall my lucky “Man from Spokane” shirt I wore to volleyball tryouts in middle school.)
- 80s movies (Everything that had Molly Ringwald in it, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Back to the Future, and so on…)
- Christmas (Is isn’t called “the most wonderful time of the year” for nothing!)
- Cupcakes (My sweet tooth is open for anything sweet, but what is cuter than a mini, frosted cake that’s just for you?)
- Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly (The epitomes of class.)
- Cities in the Rain (San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles – all great cities. However, I find them all the more beautiful glossed and slicked from rain. Also, rainboots!)
- French Bulldogs (Undoubtedly the cutest creatures on earth. I’m especially fond of my two Frenchies, Dash and Coco. I do love my cat, Luna, too!)
- Technology (Not a day goes by that I’m not on my computer, phone, etc. I mean, what would I do without Twitter and Instagram?!)
- Imagine Dragons (I've had their album on repeat!)
