Back in Los Angeles for my sophomore year of college, something that's still hard for me to grasp. So far, so good in regard to classes. It's so nice seeing everyone again and I'm really thankful for the cool breeze that didn't show up until November last year. An ideal 75 degrees is way more enjoyable than the 102 degrees it was around this time last year. My dorm was an oven! I'm eager to get this first week under my belt so I can work towards a set routine, but it hasn't been too hard yet. I already miss the Bay, but I know that it's just a few hours away (or under an hour by plane) if I ever need a trip home.
Here are some pictures from last Wednesday when my mom and I spent the afternoon in the Marina. We also went to Fillmore Street where we saw Blue Jasmine at The Clay Theatre. Highly recommend! If anything, see it for Cate Blanchett’s array of Birkins and luminous skin. And for the sights of San Francisco and New York. And the music, the storyline, the acting... Ok, you get it.
