I finished the first semester of my junior year of college, meaning I have just three left until I graduate and enter the REAL WORLD. It seems like this semester just started; yet here I am in recovery mode after a brutal week of finals. I personally think finals should be a week before the last week of the semester. That way, the final week could be relaxing and fun instead of exhausting and far from a form of enjoyment. In any case, I survived. I even made it to The Grove on Saturday – a true feat. I made it out without being trampled, and spent wisely: a celebratory hamburger at Umami. Usually I come home right after exams finish, but it was nice to have an extra day or two to hang out and start to get in the holiday spirit. In the past 24 hours that I’ve been home, I’ve listened to four classic Christmas albums, and watched one and a half Christmas movies. I also baked seasonal cookies. At the rate I’m going, I might turn into an elf by Christmas Day. I’m ok with that.
